DACE/ITIN Mortgages

A DACE/ITIN mortgage is a type of mortgage that is designed for individuals who don't have a Social Security Number.

Instead of an SSN, the DACE/ITIN mortgage allows them to use an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) to apply for a mortgage. DACE stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, which is a program that provides temporary relief from deportation for certain undocumented individuals who came to the United States as children.

DACE/ITIN Mortgages

Are you an undocumented immigrant or a DACA recipient looking to buy a home? With this type of mortgage, you can use an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) instead of a Social Security Number to apply for a mortgage.

This means that you can achieve the dream of homeownership without having to worry about your immigration status. Plus, you'll have access to competitive interest rates and flexible payment terms.

Pros:

  • Provides an opportunity for undocumented immigrants and DACA recipients to achieve the dream of homeownership

  • Allows the use of an ITIN instead of a Social Security Number to apply for a mortgage

  • Offers competitive interest rates and flexible payment terms

  • Can help build credit and establish a financial history in the United States

Cons:

  • May require a larger down payment than traditional mortgages

  • Interest rates may be higher than traditional mortgages

  • May require additional documentation to prove income and financial stability
